Mistfeather stopped dead in her tracks. She had been looking for herbs, when she overheard the whole conversation. The two leaders were planning to give away Ashkit! She cautiously padded toward the leaders, and growled "Why do you want to give up your own kit, Blossomstar?" just loud enough for the two she-cats to hear clearly.
